Our Focus
We are working towards a gender equal future with full human rights for all by prioritising three areas: abortion rights, comprehensive sexuality education and young people's bodily autonomy.
1. Abortion rights for everyone, everywhere
Access to safe legal abortion care is a human right.
Our network and Champions push for progressive change and work to de-stigmatize abortion by improving laws and policies, providing access to services and changing harmful narratives that stand in the way of the right to decide.
2. Comprehensive Sexuality Education for gender equality
Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is a powerful tool that can change lives, challenge discrimination and harmful values.
SheDecides works to ensure that young people have access to quality education and information about their health, bodies, sexuality and relationships, without stigma or shame.
3. Bodily autonomy for all young people
SheDecides gives young people a seat at the table when it comes to conversations about their bodies, lives and futures.
We provide a platform for young people to share their priorities and ideas, and to hold governments accountable to the commitments they have made.
