The Guiding Group of
Champions - Leading
the Movement
As a global movement, SheDecides aims to be diverse and inclusive so that it brings together political and other leaders (from diverse countries and regions) with young people; leaders from gender equality, SRHR, HIV and other non-governmental organisations (NGOs); parliamentarians; artists; people from the professions, private sector and academia; and activists and other interested individuals.
The Guiding Group of Champions is the principal decision-making body in governance processes for SheDecides. The Guiding Group comprises Champions who elect the Chair and Vice-Chair, and a representative from the organisation that hosts the SheDecides Support Unit.
Memory Zonde-Kachambwa, Executive Director, FEMNET African Women's Development and Communication Network is Chair of the SheDecides Guiding Group. Sonali Silva is Vice-Chair.
