Women Deliver
Dr. Maliha Khan, President and CEO
To be a SheDecides Champion is to boldly recognise that adolescent girls don’t need rescuing — they need rights, recognition, resources, and the space to lead. As anti-rights forces grow louder and old systems collapse under the weight of inequality, Women Deliver is working with partners like SheDecides to build something better — a future where every girl, everywhere, truly decides: about her body, her life, and her future. At the Women Deliver 2026 Conference, we’ll bring that vision to the global stage — because that’s not just hope. That’s justice.

Lo Riches
Policy & Advocacy Manager
As a feminist and human rights activist, I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with SheDecides to advance a world where the reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy of all women and girls is respected, protected, and fulfilled. This includes the right to safe and legal abortion, as early as possible and as late as necessary.
Angel Babirye
Women Deliver Emerging Leader
From grassroots to policy tables, I amplify girls’ voices in spaces that often silence them, I mobilise communities and challenge harmful norms so that SheDecides, freely and powerfully, about her body, her future, her life, and her rights and I hold leaders accountable to commitments so that girls are protected by policies, not failed by them. Angel Babirye is a Ugandan advocate for gender equity, social justice, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She co-founded Us for Girls, a youth-led organisation advancing SRHR, menstrual health, and economic empowerment for adolescent girls. She serves on Uganda’s National Teenage Pregnancy Think Tank and leads youth advocacy across 16 countries as President of the African Youth and Adolescent Network on Population and Development – East and Southern Africa (AfriYAN ESA). Angel collaborates with UNFPA and UNESCO to expand comprehensive sexuality education and has served on the Africa Steering Committee for Beijing+30, advancing gender equality across the continent.

How we are working so SheDecides
Women Deliver works with governments, institutions, and within multilateral spaces to advance gender equality and protect and promote the bodily autonomy of adolescent girls, women, and gender-diverse people. In the face of rising authoritarianism and anti-rights agendas, we push for bold, feminist policies that center sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We advocate for gender-transformative global health systems, climate action rooted in justice, and multilateralism that is inclusive, accountable, and responsive. Our work is grounded in transnational solidarity and shaped by the leadership of feminist movements and youth advocates from the Global Majority.

Confronting the Anti-Rights Agenda
Women Deliver is working across movements and multilateral spaces to expose, resist, and dismantle the coordinated rise of anti-rights actors that threaten bodily autonomy, democracy, and gender equality. We monitor and analyse their strategies, support cross-movement organising, and build political will among allies — all while defending SRHR and human rights norms. Our work equips feminist movements and youth advocates with the tools and analysis needed to hold the line and push for progress.

We’re advocating for global health systems that are rights-based, gender-transformative, and rooted in the lived realities of adolescent girls. Our advocacy calls on governments and multilateral bodies to move beyond inclusion and toward power-shifting — centering the leadership of adolescent girls and feminist movements in global health governance. We are championing comprehensive SRHR as essential to health equity, accountability, and resilience, particularly in the face of growing anti-rights pushback.

Advancing Climate Justice Through SRHR
The climate crisis is not gender-neutral. Women Deliver is ensuring that climate policies centre the needs and leadership of adolescent girls and women, especially those from the most affected communities. We advocate for SRHR as a key pillar of climate resilience and justice, and we work with partners across sectors to ensure feminist solutions are reflected in climate action plans, negotiations, and financing mechanisms.

About Women Deliver
For almost 20 years, Women Deliver has championed positive change for gender equality on a global scale. We are experts in global spaces — conferences, forums, and meetings — where advocates, decision-makers, technical experts, and other actors come together to discuss critical global issues and set norms and standards. Led by and representing feminist movements and youth advocates in the majority of the world, Women Deliver plays a pivotal role in global collective action for gender equality. Our mission is to protect and promote the bodily autonomy of girls, women, and gender-diverse people, focusing specifically on their control over their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We believe that gender equality cannot be achieved unless girls, women, and gender-diverse people have the freedom to make fundamental choices about their own bodies, sexuality, and health.
