Julia Bunting is President of the Population Council, a global non-profit conducting research in nearly 50 countries to improve health & well-being with a focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Ms. Bunting is known for her path-breaking work on reproductive and maternal health at the UK Department for International Development, including as a lead catalyst of the 2012 London Summit on Family Planning. She has served as a director at the International Planned Parenthood Federation. In 2013, Ms. Bunting was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for improving reproductive health in developing countries.
